From hands-on volunteer days to educational workshops, influencing public policy or providing financial assistance, Butte CPR is committed to carrying Butte’s historic architecture into the future.


Our Mission

Butte CPR is a grassroots organization dedicated to revitalizing Butte by preserving and protecting the town’s historic cultural and architectural landscape. We do this through grantmaking, education, and advocacy.

  • Mothball abandoned buildings, securing and stabilizing them for future use.

  • Promote historic preservation through public policy.

  • Provide financial aid in preservation, restoration, and revitalization of historic structures.

  • Help prevent theft of historical elements.

  • Salvage architectural features for reuse.

  • Recognize individuals and groups for outstanding renovation and maintenance of historic structures.
